Chapter 11: Criminal?
Feng Ming felt a chill down his back, even though the person in front of him had not moved at all, the air seemed to have suddenly become oppressive:
"It's... like that."
"Okay, when?"
Unexpectedly, Du Xun agreed very quickly.
Feng Ming, who had originally prepared a long list of excuses, immediately changed his tone: "Two months."
"The entrance exam is next month, but you've agreed to it after that." Du Xun lowered his gaze, "That's not fair."
Feng Ming gritted his teeth: "The armory condition is already enough, right?"
Du Xun loaded the bullets one by one into the magazine and then inserted it into the gun, leaning back in his chair and taking off the safety.
A click, like a thunderclap in the quiet room.
"What do you use to guarantee it?"
The cold sweat felt chilly even in the summer breeze, Feng Ming understood his meaning and resolutely took out a bank card:
"There are two billion in here, the password is on the back, as a deposit. If I can't do it, this money will be yours."
This was all of Feng Ming's savings over the years, two billion, which was already a considerable sum even for him.
The outside world whispered that Du Xun was ruthless and forceful, but he didn't expect him to be so greedy as well.
Feng Ming scoffed inwardly, but outwardly lowered his head respectfully without a trace of error.
"As for how to obtain the armory, I guarantee it with my status."
Du Xun took the bank card and said, "Alright."
Feng Ming happily closed the office door.
Du Xun casually picked up the bank card.
Two billion, just to make a little kid happy.
A month later, Shen Zhuo came out of the isolation chamber, with significant improvements in all his indicators.
Inside the isolation chamber was non-stop training, completely cut off from the outside world.
When he got his phone back, among the many messages from his father and dad expressing concern, he saw a message from Du Xun.
After reading it, he called Du Xun.
"Where are you, are you free? I'll come find you."
The alpha's voice on the other end of the line was low and hoarse, with a seductive sexiness:
"I'm free, I'll have someone come pick you up."
It would take about an hour to drive from the military headquarters to here.
Shen Zhuo agreed, tidied up a bit, and then prepared to go say hello to his father and dad.
Shen Yuxin looked at Shen Zhuo's various indicators and nodded satisfactorily.
Jiang Yuenning also thoroughly treated Shen Zhuo from head to toe.
"The entrance exam is in three days, go rest well."
After chatting a bit more, Shen Zhuo walked out of the manor and got in the car to the military headquarters.
The one who came to pick him up was Du Xun's adjutant, Ji Weihen.
"Sister-in-law, hello! I'm Ji Weihen, the Commander-in-Chief's adjutant!"
Ji Weihen hurriedly opened the door for Shen Zhuo, saluted General Shen, and then mumbled: "Damn, the boss didn't commit a crime, did he? Sister-in-law looks way too much like a minor."
Shen Zhuo politely thanked him, and the rest he just pretended not to hear.
He was still holding the compatibility assessment sheet that Xia Dou had secretly given him, sitting in the back seat where Ji Weihen couldn't see, and opening it to take a look.
He couldn't help but take a deep breath.

Chapter 12: 103% Compatibility
[Lotus Omega Rosemary Alpha
Compatibility - 103%]
Shen Zhuo still remembered that in his previous life, before marrying Feng Ming, he had also tested his compatibility with him.
81% compatibility was considered upper-middle range in the entire empire.
He could accept a 100% value.
After all, the encounter with Du Xun just last month had already said it all.
But...
Why is there an extra 3% over 100%?
"Deputy Ji, do you know if compatibility can exceed 100%?"
Shen Zhuo thought for a moment.
He was still going to ask the senior who seemed to have more experience.
Ji Weihen, who looked quite the playboy, even had a mole under the corner of his eye that added to his charm.
Belonging to the type that looks like he's played around a lot, maybe he has more knowledge.
But to Shen Zhuo's surprise, Ji Weihen had a sullen expression:
"Sister-in-law, you've asked the wrong person, I haven't touched an omega's hand in 5 years."
Shen Zhuo found it amusing: "What about five years ago then?"
Ji Weihen forced a smile: "My mom."
Shen Zhuo couldn't help but turn his head and coughed lightly:
"Sorry, I didn't know."
Taking the opportunity at the red light, Ji Weihen kept glancing in the rearview mirror.
Shen Zhuo felt rather uncomfortable under his gaze.
"What's wrong?" Shen Zhuo touched his face, "Is there something dirty?"
"No, no."
The green light turned on, and Ji Weihen stepped on the gas, causing Shen Zhuo to hastily grab the seatbelt.
"I'm just so envious of the boss, he's really accomplished. But my mom said she'll introduce me to an omega next year, if she's as beautiful as you, that would be great, but beauties like you aren't easy to find..."
Adjutant Ji seemed to have opened a floodgate, immersed in his own world.
Shen Zhuo finally found a moment when Ji Weihen was drinking water to ask:
"Did Commander Du Xun have you pass any message to me?"
Ji Weihen tilted his head in thought, shaking his head:
"No, but the boss did tell me, to drive with my mouth shut and not corrupt you, otherwise he'd go back and break my..."
Shen Zhuo: "..."
Ji Weihen: "!!!"
The young adjutant turned his head like a rusty machine.
His face was filled with the serenity of the deceased, tears hanging at the corners of his eyes:
"Wuwu, sister-in-law."
The rest of the journey was finally quiet.
Shen Zhuo went online to look up examples of compatibility exceeding 100%.
He found that the highest case was only 98%.
The further down he looked, the more alarming it became.
Shen Zhuo's calm expression couldn't help but change slightly.
Why were they all talking about that thing!
"Sister-in-law, we're here."
The car wheels kicked up dust and came to a steady stop, Shen Zhuo got out of the car.
He looked up to see the solemn and majestic words "Imperial Strategic Deployment Headquarters".
"Don't call me sister-in-law, just call me Shen Zhuo."
Ji Weihen readily agreed: "Shen... young master."
Following the adjutant into the headquarters building.
In the elevator, there were constantly changing holographic images of various regulations and rules.
This place was not far from the Science and Technology Research Institute.
Reportedly, the latest generation of quantum computers will soon be on the market.
After that, phones and computers will become history in the next decade or so.
Ji Weihen knocked on a large door on the top floor.
"Come in."
"Here, have a seat."
Du Xun gestured to the chair across from him.
After Shen Zhuo sat down, he looked up at the adjutant who was trying to slip away.
"Stay."
Ji Weihen abruptly stopped.
His trembling hands made the sign of the cross on his forehead and shoulders, then clasped his hands together and mumbled a prayer.
Only then did he turn around with a resigned air:
"Boss, what are your orders?"
Du Xun casually tossed out two sentences:
"Not crowing until it's time, and then making a grand entrance?"
"..." Ji Weihen turned deathly pale.
"'Beauties like you aren't easy to find'?"
"!!!" Ji Weihen died on the spot.
Shen Zhuo was just about to open his mouth, wanting to say something to comfort the poor adjutant.
Du Xun's expression darkened: "Go do fifty laps."
