His Pheromone Smells Like Catnip Chapter 34 part 2

 Part 2

The entire classroom erupted in laughter, Professor Han made a gesture to maintain silence.

"Look at the slides." Professor Han stepped aside, displaying the body structure diagrams from the textbook, one showing the omega's gland area, and the other showing the alpha's gland area.

"The alphas sitting here should all understand their own glands, so I'll talk about what omegas' glands and marking should pay attention to." Professor Han said with a smile, "Even though this course is an alpha sex education course, I still have to say, learning this is actually for you all to better serve your future partners in the future. After all, as alphas, you should be gentlemen, not too thuggish, that's the general idea."

"But professor, the ones sitting here aren't all alphas! There are also betas in this class!" Someone shouted from the crowd.

Bai He suddenly became the focus of the entire classroom, but he was unruffled, lazily raising his eyelids to glance at the alpha who had just spoken.

The other party flashed a mischievous smile at Bai He.

Ah, yes...

That was the alpha he had encountered when getting books at the start of the semester, what was his name again?

"Zhang Anjing, your vision is too narrow." Professor Han's eyes were always crinkled in a smile. "The bonding course is actually something ABO can all learn, the more skills the better, right?"

"More skills? What can betas do besides being bitten? Who can they bite? They don't have pheromones! They can't soothe omegas, let alone alphas!" Zhang Anjing lounged in his chair, deliberately raising his voice.

Bai He silently watched Zhang Anjing, the classroom suddenly fell quiet, the air carrying a sword-drawing tension. Bai He's expression was neither warm nor cold. "I remember you."

Zhang Anjing was taken aback for a moment. "...Why would you remember me?"

It had been a while since he last saw Bai He's face, and in this moment of eye contact, he couldn't help but feel that this beta seemed to have become even more beautiful.

In fact, not only Zhang Anjing thought so, the students who saw Bai He again all had this feeling, the alphas sitting in the back row stared at the returning Bai He, their eyes widening.

"This is a beta? Damn, he looks so good!"

"He seems even more handsome than before, fuck, my heart is racing!"

"Shit, I think I'm in love..."

There was chatter in the big classroom, Professor Han quieted them down, and at this moment, a tall alpha from the back row suddenly stood up.

"Zhang's words are wrong, this course is about bonding, the core is soothing, solely defining soothing by pheromones is too rigid."

Bai He followed the voice to the back, meeting an unfamiliar gaze.

He didn't recognize this alpha, he was very tall, with a very gentle aura. Was this person in the original text?

While wondering, the tall alpha with the book came a few steps closer to Bai He's row. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Bai He, "Bai He, is there anyone sitting next to you?"

Bai He was about to shake his head, but suddenly felt a gaze, he instinctively turned his head to look back, but saw nothing.

The gaze had disappeared.

The alpha was waiting for Bai He's answer, the entire class was staring at them, and surprisingly, Professor Han didn't seem to want to intervene.

Bai He rubbed his phone with his fingers, "Sorry, the seat is saved for a friend."

There was a female alpha in the back row who suddenly took a deep breath, seeming very surprised, Bai He glanced at her puzzledly, and she awkwardly smiled.

Bai He averted his gaze, hearing that female alpha whisper to the person next to her.

"Fuck, is it obvious? Is Qin Fei being rejected?"

Bai He was momentarily stunned, the alpha in front of him did not immediately leave, but continued to gently smile, "Four empty seats, are they all for your friends?"

Bai He hesitated, shaking his head, "Just one."

He said, placing his other book on the seat next to him, indicating that this seat was occupied.

Qin Fei curved his eyes, sitting down in the empty seat by the aisle, tilting his head, "Then can I sit here?"

Bai He nodded, "Okay."

"Alright students, can we return to the teacher now?" The professor on the podium smiled, "If there are no other questions, I'll continue the lecture."

The small incident passed, the class continued, the seat next to Bai He remained empty, with Qin Fei sitting one seat away.

The two were silent, listening to the lecture.

During this time, Bai He again sensed a gaze observing him, from tentative exploration to bold openness.

If it was before, Bai He wouldn't have been able to perceive these things at all.

Since his secondary gender presentation, his senses had become much more acute, it should be due to the pheromones.

After the third class was dismissed for a ten-minute break, Bai He put down his pen, and the alpha next to him also put down his pen and naturally moved closer to Bai He.

The chatter in the class had diminished considerably, Bai He noticed that many gazes were directed at them.

"Seat saved for a friend?" Qin Fei propped his chin with one hand, lightly tapping the empty seat next to Bai He, narrowing his eyes, "Where's your friend?"

Bai He quietly looked at Qin Fei, picked up his phone, found a familiar avatar, and made a voice call.

In less than a second, the other end connected.

"Bai He?"

It was a very low voice.

Bai He glanced back, but didn't see a familiar figure, so he turned his gaze back. "Have you returned to school?"

The other end was silent for a few seconds, then lightly chuckled, "Yes."

"I saved you a seat, are you coming?" Bai He asked.

"...Okay, I'll be right there," the voice on the phone said calmly.

Bai He hung up the call, telling Qin Fei, "He's coming."

"I see." Qin Fei raised his eyebrows, his gaze, though gentle, observed Bai He brazenly, "Boyfriend?"

Bai He was taken aback for a moment, then composed his expression, "It's none of your business."

"That hurts, I just helped you a moment ago." Qin Fei showed a somewhat aggrieved expression, "Just tell me if you're single now, okay?"

"Thank you for just now, you're a nice person." Bai He looked straight ahead, "But I didn't ask for your help, and besides—"

He glanced at Qin Fei, calmly saying, "I don't think Zhang Anjing could beat me in a fight even if we argued."

Qin Fei fell silent, then suddenly laughed, "You're so cute."

He reached up to caress Bai He's cheek, but was slapped away by the person who suddenly approached.

"Cute is something you can touch?" Qin Yao's icy voice loomed above, his gaze filled with hostility as he stared at Qin Fei, "Bai He is my friend, not yours, this seat is reserved for me!" Qin Yao said harshly, full of hostility.

Zhang Wenyi, who had come rushing in with his books, looked puzzled at the childish exchange. "What kind of elementary school talk is this?"

Qin Yao shot a cold glare at Qin Fei, then turned to Bai He, his expression softening. "Bai He, I'm here."

Bai He looked up at Qin Yao, a slight smile on his lips. "I'm glad you came."

Qin Fei watched the interaction silently, his gaze flickering between the two. The classroom had fallen eerily quiet, everyone's attention focused on the three of them.

Bai He felt the weight of the stares, but he paid them no mind, his focus solely on Qin Yao. He moved his belongings to make space for the alpha to sit.

Qin Yao settled in next to Bai He, occasionally shooting warning glances at Qin Fei. The tall alpha returned the looks with a neutral expression, not willing to provoke further conflict.

Professor Han cleared his throat, drawing the class's attention back to the lecture. "Alright, let's continue our discussion on proper alpha-omega bonding techniques..."

Bai He listened intently, jotting down notes. The information, while foreign to his previous life experiences, was crucial for understanding his current situation as an omega.

During the lesson, Bai He couldn't help but occasionally glance at Qin Yao. The alpha's strong presence beside him was both comforting and unsettling. Bai He felt increasingly aware of his own omega nature, and the implications it held for his future.

As the class neared its end, Bai He sensed the lingering gazes from his classmates, particularly the alphas. He wondered if they saw him differently now, now that they knew he was an omega.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the session. Bai He began packing up his things, Qin Yao hovering close by.

"Bai He, let's go get lunch together," Qin Yao offered, his voice low and soft.

Bai He considered the invitation, then nodded. "Okay."

The two made their way out of the classroom, oblivious to the envious and curious stares following them.
